Then a liberal layer of glue is applied to the top layer for the middle layer and the front metal piece.

Which are then applied and glue wiped off the fingers onto the to-be-glued surfaces.

Glue is then applied to those surfaces to attach the bottom layer pieces.

Which are then likewise put in place and stuck down.

Then finally the bottom form is put in place and the rail nearest the camera moved up to wedge the whole thing in place.

A liberal and bizarre variety of clamps is then applied to keep it all together.

You can never have too many clamps!

In the corner we're getting a small amount of glue pressed out in the waste section. This is good - it means glue has coated everywhere else. The corner, however, isn't quite as neat as it should be - this will be more obvious later.

The following day, the case is removed from the mould.

You can see more clearly here that the absence of appropriate moulding in the top form hasn't pushed the front face together as neatly as it should have been.

First the front face is unearthed. This was very pleasing!
